5 Things to Do While in Mira Mesa, San Diego
Taking a trip to Mira Mesa, San Diego? A community with a suburban feel, Mira Mesa is a safe and diverse community that is welcoming to all. In fact, Mira Mesa is ranked the 9th (out of 49) most diverse neighborhood in all of San Diego. Here are some things you can do while in the area:
1) Enjoy the nightlife

One of the best things about Mira Mesa is the food. The area offers up some of the best Indian food in all of San Diego and ranges in diversity. If you like this type of food, don’t miss the opportunity to try Annapurna or Punjabi Tandoor which are rated two of the top Indian restaurants in the area. But don’t worry, if Indian isn’t your thing there are plenty of other excellent dining establishments in the area. The Rockin Baja Lobster Cantina is a Baja style restaurant offering buckets of Puerto Nuevo style seafood. It’s a great place to kick back, relax, and enjoy an ice cold drink with some live entertainment and dancing.
3) Shop at the Market
If you’re looking for a good place to do a little shopping or grab a coffee, head on over to the Mira Mesa Marketplace. You can also find several food establishments here including Jersey Mike’s Subs, Pick up Stix, and everybody’s favorite – Starbucks. For shopping, the Mira Mesa Marketplace is small but still has everything you need in terms of apparel, entertainment, and health and beauty supplies.
4) Family Entertainment
Mira Mesa is a great place to find clean, fun, family entertainment. Start at Mira Mesa Lanes where you can rent your own bowling lane. Then, head on over to Edwards Imax Cinemas to catch a new release. Plenty of entertainment to satisfy both adults and kids.
